Testng doesn't run all the test methods in the suite

deepng
Hi

I am using Testng 6.14.3 and have the below following suite format. All the test classes have at least 10 testMethods in the "sanity" group.
But when I run this suite testng triggers only the first test in every class and passes the test suite.

Is there something wrong there?

Thanks,
Deepng

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE suite SYSTEM "http://testng.org/testng-1.0.dtd" >

<run>
<include name="sanity"/>
</run>
</groups>

<test name="Sanity">
<classes>
<class name="1"></class>
<class name="2"></class>
<class name="3"></class>
<class name="4"></class>
</classes>
</test>
</suite>

Hard to say with what you have shared so far. Can you please create a sample project which can be used to reproduce the problem ?

Please have the sample project just make use of println statements and not depend on any third party libraries.

Thanks & Regards

Re: Testng doesn't run all the test methods in the suite

deepng
Hi Krishnan,

I have reproduced this issue and have attached the project tar.
The problem seems to be because of the Priorities of the methods.
Seems like, if I don't use the parallel parameter only the first priority methods are run.
One workaround would be to add parallel="tests" parameter in the suite tag of this project.
