Compilation of the SVN trunk

Didier BRETIN

Hi,

I would like to compile the v272 of the trunk of testng and I have an
error under eclipse 3.1:
Unbound classpath variable: 'TOOLS15_LIB' in project testng-src

Did I forget some libraries ?

Regards

Point this variable to 3rdparty/ant.jar.

In fact shouldn't it point to tools.jar :-)?

Sorry I can't find where I can setup this variable in the properties of
my project.

There is no tools.jar in the files of the project ?!?!

It's in the launch perspective.  Add a .jar file and you'll see a Variables button there.

Sorry for consufing you, Didier.

We use this variable as a general way of making the Eclipse project work for everyone  it is part of the .classpath, but its value needs to be set individually by each developer (so that each developer can use their own environment).

As for tools.jar, it's in the the JRE/lib directory, and you only need it if you use JDK 1.4.  Otherwise, you can ignore it (I suspect even my setting to ant.jar might be useless, as Alexandru pointed out).
