Can we set time between 2 @Test - testng

garvitagirotraev
Hi,

Here is my testng.xml :

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE suite SYSTEM "http://testng.org/testng-1.0.dtd">
<suite name="Suite">
<test name="Dashborad">
<groups>
<classes>
<class name="ipd.admin.Test1" />
<class name="ipd.admin.Test2" />
</classes>

</test>
</suite>

Like , if i want once Test1 is completed, it should pause for 1 or 2 sec before starting another test Test2. Is this possible ?

Thanks !!

Easiest way of doing this would be to add a @BeforeMethod implementation wherein you add the delay you want.
Since the @BeforeMethod can be natively injected with a java.lang.Method object, you could get a bit fancy and create your own marker annotation and then within your @BeforeMethod implementation you check if the method has the new annotation and if yes, you pause accordingly.

Thanks & Regards
